Women Wine & Connections (WWC). Women network and connect through the development of close relationships. Women, Wine, & Connections takes networking to the next level by connecting with the community. WWC has compassion to help women and children in need within the community while helping women develop professionally.

Networking with a New Purpose

Evelyn Flynn & Ellen Martine are the founders of Women Wine & Connections. After years of organizing business networking gatherings, they decided it was time to form a group that extended past the normal business networking groups in their local area. 

​

They felt a greater need to form a group that connected... Connected women both personally & professionally... Connected to helping women and kids in the community.

 

Throughout the year, WWC hosts various functions around the city of Baton Rouge. Each gathering is an opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine, and meet new ladies for the purpose of making connections both personally & professionally.

Each function is also an opportunity to donate and support local causes such as the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

Monthly Gatherings

Once a month, a local business host WWC gatherings. We enjoy wine and revel in the strong spirit of community among women. Sponsors are acknowledged and given the floor to speak for a few minutes and hand out door prizes. We also use this opportunity to collect in-kind items for The Greater BR Food Bank. Every month is a new theme and new opportunities!

DROP YOUR DRAWERS is a drive that lets us collect new underwear for women and children. The items are donated to the IRIS Domestic Violence Center. Food Drives that we do a couple of times a year one being Snack Time for children.

Annual Mothzilla Ball

The annual Mothzilla Ball is an opportunity to dress up, unwind, and have tons of fun for charity. The evening festivities include live music, wine, food, and a silent auction. Why is the Mothzilla Ball different? We don't just get dressed up, we pull out our best bridesmaid gown that has been gathering dust in the back of the closet... It's your excuse to wear that one-time dress... again. This is our big annual charity event and raises money to support our nonprofit.
